Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?JOB SUMMARY | RESPONSIBILITIES: An Air Cargo Ramp Agent plays an important part of our world-leading ground handling operation at the DFW Airport. Ramp Agents focus on safety, attention to detail, and complete various aspects of air cargo ramp service functions which include loading and unloading cargo, and aircraft marshalling. The main job duties of an Air Cargo Ramp Agent may include (but not limited to):
  • Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure
  • Load and unload cargo on and off aircraft
  • Safely drive and operate ground support equipment, including belt loaders, k-loaders, and tugs to pick-up and deliver cargo between the terminal, warehouse, and aircraft
  • Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking, and related guide man functions
  • Maintain a secure work environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver license
  • Ability to communicate, read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language
  • *This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union which requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.** PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Air Cargo experience
  • Ground operations experience
  • Ramp agent experiencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS | WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Work in inclement weather
  • Flexible to work 24/7 across various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
