Corporate Legal Assistant
Summary: A Legal Assistant with American Food & Vending will assist the General Counsel with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities: - Provide executive level administrative support to the company's General Counsel.
- Report and work directly with General Counsel to keep things organized, maintain legal documents, contracts, meet deadlines for time sensitive issues.
- Conduct research to gather pertinent information and stay updated on relevant regulations.
- Take initiative to follow up on research pertinent to business requirements.
- May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications: - An associate degree or a certificate in paralegal studies preferred.
- Five (5) years' experience in a law office or professional office setting required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail, diligent in composing, typing, and proofing correspondence, contracts, and corporate documents.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, manage, and maintain electronic and paper files.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Adobe, and Excel
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work as necessary to meet operating and business needs.

NY Pay: $28 - $35 per hour. Pay rate offered will be based on applicable and relevant skills and experience.
