Job Title: Demolition Laborer (Commercial Construction)

Pay Rate: $23–$28 per hour

Location: Project-based (Clovis, NM & Colorado Springs, CO)

Per Diem: Hotel provided + $35/day for meals & incidentals

Job Description

We are hiring a General Laborer to support interior demolition on commercial construction projects. This role focuses on selective demolition for renovation work, including wall, floor, and door removal, while working safely around existing plumbing and utilities. You will be part of a small crew supporting active remodel projects.

Required Skills (Needs)

  • 1–3 years of experience as a demolition laborer or construction laborer
  • Ability to perform general labor and concrete-related tasks
  • Ability to work safely around existing plumbing and utilities
  • Comfortable using hand tools for demolition
  • Ability to perform physical work (lifting, debris removal, standing for long periods)

Preferred Skills (Wants)

  • Concrete labor experience
  • Experience with interior demolition on commercial projects
  • Experience on commercial remodel or renovation projects
  • Familiarity with dust control and site sealing techniques
  • Experience removing:
    • Non-structural walls
    • Interior doors, frames, and hardware
    • Flooring (tile, concrete, or similar materials)

Work Environment

  • First project: Locker room remodel in Clovis, NM (approx. 2 weeks)
  • Second project: Cafeteria remodel in Colorado Springs, CO
  • Crew size: 4 laborers + 1 supervisor
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, some Saturdays as needed
  • Average of 40 hours per week
  • Hotel provided when working away from home

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
