Full time POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clear View School / AMIC & Supportive Families is looking for a Physical Education teacher to work full time for our Day Treatment Center , who can provide an active learning environment where all students can excel academically, physically, and socially.

• Develop and implement fun lesson plans and class activities for Physical Education and Health classes aligned with New York State Standards. Assess students regularly and analyze student results; refine and differentiate classroom instruction based on assessment data and student needs.
• Manage student behavior to ensure every student is fully engaged. 
• Maintain accurate student records, including attendance. 
• Identify unique student needs and collaborate with peer teachers to effectively address those needs. 
• Support the school's Strategic Planning initiatives emphasizing strengthening the culture. 
• Demonstrate commitment to the school's purpose, vision, and mission. 
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned. 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Certification in Special Education.
• Physical Education.
• Ability and willingness to reflect and improve instructional practices. 
• Compassionate and Passionate; Results-driven and goal-oriented Excellent classroom management skills. 
• Provide positive behavior intervention with support Effective interpersonal communication skills with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Knowledge of the subject matter.
• Knowledge of child cognitive development and various learning styles.
