Position Overview:
The Preconstruction Manager will oversee and drive all aspects of the preconstruction phase, including:
* Estimating (conceptual and detailed)
* Scheduling and constructability reviews
* Value management and BIM integration
* Subcontractor and supplier procurement
* Collaboration with project stakeholders, including Owners, Architects, Engineers, Consultants, and Suppliers
Additionally, the role involves:
* Developing and maintaining subcontractor relationships
* Engaging with regional industry organizations
* Staying informed on regional and national commodity markets
* Assisting in the pursuit of new project opportunities
Leadership Responsibilities:
* Coordinate preconstruction resources in collaboration with key managers (e.g., Chief Estimator, Regional Managers)
* Provide clear directives and leadership to team members assigned to preconstruction efforts
* Ensure alignment with the organization's goals and project objectives
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in preconstruction management within the commercial construction sector
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Expertise in estimating, scheduling, and constructability analysis
* A track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
