This position is eligible to telework up to three (3) days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II is responsible for independently performing a variety of complex analytical work relating to the recruitment activities for DGS. The position assists in the development and coordination of strategic recruitment plans, marketing and outreach materials, facilitating the recruitment process, and completing minimum qualifications analysis for DGS programs and contracted client agencies, boards, and commissions, in accordance with Civil Service Merit Principle, the Selection Manual, the Examination and Certification Online System (ECOS) Users Guide, the Federal Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection, all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, California Department of Human Resources (CalHR), State Personnel Board (SPB), and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Civil Service Merit Principal and established office procedures and policies.
This position may be downgraded to Analyst I for recruitment purposes. If downgraded, duties will be adjusted accordingly.
This position may require travel.
Per CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies.
