This position is with the Office of Administration Division of Facilities Management, Design, and Construction (OA-FMDC) supporting the Operations Team. OA-FMDC is committed to strengthening the State’s investments while providing a safe and secure environment through innovative design solutions and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities - What you’ll doAbility to communicate, collaborate and lead with integrity in a manner that inspires trust and builds positive rapport with a diverse group of stakeholders and the public.
Ability to plan, manage, and direct numerous time-sensitive projects independently or as part of a team using procedures, processes, regulations, and practices applicable to a specialized trade.
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex technical documentation to solve problems and provide several options for resolution.
3-5 years of on-the-job training in a trade area.
Experience operating and maintaining various equipment and tools.
Ability to discern skill set needed for projects and whether it can be completed in-house or by a contractor.
Safety-first mindset with considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions. (OSHA 10 and/or 30 preferred, but FMDC can provide if needed.)
Excellent time management, organizational, planning, and communication skills.
Excellent attendance, work ethic, attention to detail, conflict management, and critical thinking skills.

Possess and maintain a valid driver license from Missouri or from an adjacent state if you reside outside of Missouri.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
