Lead Supervisor - Custodial Services


Full-Time | On Site

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: 2:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Pay: $20.65

Position Overview

Dale Rogers Training Center (DRTC) is seeking a reliable, motivated Lead Supervisor to support custodial operations across multiple federal contract sites. This role is essential in ensuring that all assigned buildings meet contract cleaning standards while providing leadership, guidance, and support to custodial staff.


The Lead Supervisor plays a hands-on role in daily operations—conducting inspections, assisting with training, performing custodial duties when needed, and ensuring staff have the tools and direction required to succeed. This position directly contributes to DRTC’s mission by promoting high-quality service, professionalism, and accountability across all custodial projects.


Additional Requirements

  • Must have reliable personal transportation
  • Must maintain state‑mandated liability insurance on personal vehicle
  • Must pass bi‑annual MVR checks
  • Must provide annual flu vaccine record if assigned to Child Development Centers at Tinker AFB

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise assigned Custodians and provide daily support
  • Address questions, concerns, and operational needs of staff
  • Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness meets contract specifications
  • Ensure employees have proper supplies and equipment
  • Complete required inspections and documentation (Lead Reports, Mileage Reports, etc.)
  • Perform custodial duties as needed and assist at other contract sites
  • Assist with training new employees
  • Maintain supply closets and equipment in clean, organized condition
  • Perform preventive maintenance as required
  • Report emergencies or unusual situations to the Supervisor on duty
  • Properly maintain and use a company-issued cell phone for business purposes

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. vertically and 25 lbs. horizontally
  • Ability to carry required weights up to 100 feet
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to push, pull, drag, and move equipment
  • Must maintain mobility, vision, and dexterity appropriate for custodial duties

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Custodial knowledge and at least 1 year of experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Proven leadership skills required
  • REAL ID–compliant driver’s license
  • Ability to pass all required agency and client background checks
  • Steady employment history and professional demeanor
